Why the message goes to the right person, not the easiest one to reach

A reachable moderator is easier to message than a marketing lead with no Telegram. It is also the wrong person.

Written down 4 October 2026

For each company Coldpitch looks for the people who could act on the message and addresses the draft to the one in the most relevant role, usually whoever runs marketing, then a founder. That person gets the message even when their Telegram could not be found and someone less relevant's could. Every contact found stays on the lead, so you can still reach the team another way.

The order

Marketing first, because the message is about their marketing. Then the people closest to it, such as SEO and community, then founders, then business development, then anyone else who leads something. Moderators come last.

Why not whoever has a Telegram

We used to let a found Telegram win. It sent a draft about a company's marketing to its head of governance while the chief executive had been found. The person who answers fastest is not the person who can buy, and a message that reaches the wrong person first often goes no further.

Why the others stay on the lead

Sometimes the right person is not reachable at all and a teammate is. Coldpitch does not decide that for you. It addresses the draft to the best person and keeps every other contact it found, with their Telegram where it has one, so you can choose.

How it looks for people

Free sources first: the company's own X account and the accounts it follows, its website, its Telegram groups. A paid search runs only when those did not find enough, which means someone in a buying role plus at least one person with a Telegram. Finding a specific person's Telegram by hand is a guide of its own.

Try Coldpitch and skip the manual part

It finds the accounts worth writing to, spots the weak point, digs out who to talk to on Telegram or X, and writes the first message from what it actually found. Less work than doing this by hand, and better leads at the end of it.
