What we collect
Your email address, and the date you gave it to us. Nothing else that you type.
We also count visits, with DataFast. It sets no cookies and it cannot recognise you
tomorrow: a visit is counted against a short code made from your address and your browser,
and that code is scrambled afresh every day on purpose. We see which pages get opened and
which sites send people here. Nothing is joined to your email address, no profile is built,
and there is no advertising network anywhere near this site.
The only cookie here is the one that keeps a form submission working. That is why you are
not being asked to agree to anything: there is nothing stored on your machine to agree to.
Why
To write to you once, when Coldpitch opens. That is the only reason the list exists.
Who sees it
Us, and Resend, which delivers the mail. The visit counts sit with DataFast. We do not sell
any of it, rent it, or hand it to anybody else.
How long
Until you leave the list or we close it down. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe
link, and replying to any of them and asking to come off does the same thing.
Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reply to any
email we have sent you and say which. We answer within 30 days.
