Free Cold Outreach Message Generator

Write short, natural outreach messages using your offer and a real reason to contact someone.

One real fact about them, the way you would say it to them. Leave it empty and the message stays general.

The hard part is the reason to write. Coldpitch finds it.

Coldpitch watches for companies with a reason to buy: a new funding round, a hiring push, a launch, an event, a feed that has gone quiet. It finds the person to talk to on Telegram or X and drafts the first message from what it actually found.

How to generate a cold outreach message

  1. Say what you offer in one plain sentence: "We run paid social for B2B SaaS companies", not "We provide growth solutions".
  2. Say who it is for, by name and role if you know them.
  3. Give the real reason you are writing: one fact about them that you found, the way you would say it to them. "You're hiring your first growth marketer." This is the line that decides whether the message gets read, and the generator never makes one up.
  4. Pick the platform, tone, length and kind of ask, then Generate. You get three drafts built differently: one that opens with the reason, one that opens with what you do, and one that asks whether you have the right person. Edit any of them in place, copy it, or send it to the message checker before it goes out.

Cold DM examples for different platforms

Telegram (casual, short):

Hey Sarah, saw you're hiring your first growth marketer. We run paid social for B2B SaaS teams, mostly the ones without an in-house marketer yet. Is that something you'd look at outside help for?

Twitter / X (the shortest):

Saw you're hiring a growth marketer. We run paid social for B2B SaaS. Worth a look while you hire?

LinkedIn (professional, not corporate):

Hi Sarah, Acme is hiring its first growth marketer. We run paid social for B2B SaaS companies at that stage, while the team is still small. Would it help to see how that usually works?

Email (with a plain subject line):

Subject: growth while you hire

Hi Sarah, Acme is hiring its first growth marketer. We run paid social for B2B SaaS teams while they hire for that role. Is that on your list right now?

These examples use a made-up company. Every fact in a real message has to be one you found.

How to personalize a cold message

Personalisation is not the first name in the greeting; it is the reason the message exists. A good reason is specific, recent and checkable: a job they posted, a launch, a funding announcement, a post they wrote, a change on their website. A bad one fits anyone: "love what you're building", "I see you're the CEO". If you cannot find a real reason, it is usually better to say plainly what you do and ask a question than to pretend you looked. The guide to personalising without inventing goes further.

Cold outreach mistakes to avoid

  • Inventing a trigger. "Congrats on the funding round" to a company that did not raise ends the conversation, and your reputation with it.
  • Asking for a call. A 30-minute call is a big ask from a stranger. A one-line question is not.
  • Pitching everything. One offer, the one that connects to the reason you are writing.
  • Template texture. "I hope this finds you well", long dashes, "not just X, but Y". The generator avoids them, and the checker flags them in anything you edit.

Frequently asked questions

How do I write a cold DM that feels personal?

Start with one real fact about them that you actually found, say in one plain sentence what you do that connects to it, and end with one short question. Leave out compliments and anything you could send to a different company unchanged.

Should I use the same message on Telegram and LinkedIn?

No. Telegram and X are casual and short; LinkedIn is more professional; email needs a subject line and can be a little longer. Pick the platform above and the drafts change to fit it.

How long should a first outreach message be?

Short: two to four sentences. Under about 60 words on X, 80 on Telegram, 100 on LinkedIn and 120 in email. The Short setting stays well under those.

Can I edit the generated message?

Yes. Each draft is an editable box: change anything, then copy it, or press Check this message to run the edited version through the message checker.

Does the generator make up facts?

No. It only uses what you type. With AI drafting on, the model is told the same rule and every draft is checked afterwards for numbers that are not in your input; a draft that fails is not shown.
