LinkedIn's own search limits what a free account can see. Search engines index public LinkedIn profiles, so a well-built query on Google or Bing (an "X-ray" search) finds people by title, company and location from outside LinkedIn. The X-ray search builder writes those queries for you.
It builds searches only. It does not scrape LinkedIn or show anything a search engine would not show you anyway.
